Best Western Plus Winter Haven Inn & Suites

We booked this hotel because it’s right by Legoland and the legoland rooms were ridiculously priced. I didn’t have high expectations for this hotel because it’s a Best Western. Boy was I wrong! This hotel has large comfortable modern and fresh rooms. There were six of us and we booked a double queen suite. The pull out couch was PERFECT for our boys. There was a separate table sitting area with a tv in front of the couch so our boys were able to do their legos and watch their own tv. Kinda gave them their own space. They have a heated pool as well which was a nice touch. We actually had the chance to go into the legoland hotel to check it out and compare. OMG what a chaotic nightmare that was. It looked, smelled and sounded like a daycare center. I am so happy we did not stay at the resort hotel, and chose this best western instead. The front desk lady that checked us in was incredibly sweet and welcoming. They gave our kiddos cookies when we returned from legoland. Crawling into the crisp clean bed after a long hot day was so nice. We will absolutely return to this hotel when we plan to visit legoland again, and highly recommend anyone that wants to go to Legoland and not pay ridiculous prices for stinky and not so great rooms to stay at this best western instead. It’s a 3 minute drive to the park. Highly satisfied!!!! Thank you BW!

I'm not a hotel expert, but the rooms were clean and spacious. Everything was convenient and it included breakfast. It's practically across the street from Legoland too. The only thing negative is that it doesn't have a pretty surrounding area, but that just nitpicking.

Room was huge and clean. Updated. Great location if you are going to legoland. Breakfast was good. Only negative was the homeless encampment that you could see out the window. And the panel of fence leading to it was knocked down, probably by the homeless person living there so they can go in and out easily. If it had been the summer and I wanted to swim, I would not have because the person would have been right there. Makes it look scummy

So glad I booked at this hotel for my sons birthday weekend, we were going to legoland and this hotel was across the street from legoland making it super convenient. The rooms were clean, staff was super nice and the breakfast was a plus with small kids. 10/10 recommended. Thank you Best Western!

I don't usually stay at Best Western, but I stayed here while attending a cousin's funeral. It's brand new, so the beds were comfortable and everything worked as intended. The rooms are spacious and everything is clean. Despite being located off a busy street, it was really quiet since it sits pretty far back from the street behind a bank and a big parking lot. It has a standard self-service breakfast, which is a plus if you're traveling with young kids. It has a good variety so it's adequate for breakfast.

Very nice newer place. Staff has always been friendly, respectful and helpful. The breakfast buffet is nice . There is a Golden Coral right next door ( across the parking lot) and it’s just down the road from Lego Land. Been staying there the last three years.

I would highly recommend this hotel. The King suite was a top-notch option. It was spacious and immaculate clean, and all the tiny things I could think of were there, including a fridge, microwave, coffee machine... Connecting to the Wi-Fi and TV was straight forward. Shower supplies smelled great and many towels were provided. I am a tall guy and I did not have to crouch to get under the shower head, I appreciated that. We stayed only for one weekend, and it was a perfect choice in all aspects; location, cleanliness, amenities, price. Plenty of parking space right in front and our room had a direct view to the car . Check in and out was a breeze. Breakfast was basic but at least there was something to get you going for the morning. 5 stars. I would come back any time.

This is a family friendly hotel. The staff is amazing. Free breakfast in the morning. You are next to some restaurants. There's a grocery store right by there. Place is clean. Would highly recommend this place for families seeing that it's right across the street pretty much by Legoland. The front desk receptionist, Donna was amazing!.
